To be honest, owning both systems is nice but with last year, only having actually purchased a small handful of games for the 360, the PS3 is becoming my primary console and not just for reliability reasons. With a games line up like this and very little on the 360's horizon, you can bet that the PS3 will get some major play time. Thanks god these PS3 are built like tanks!
Heck, from the developers, they have been saying that the game alone will produce up to 350 light sources at any given time. Last I checked, that was not possible with the 360 due to some bandwidth issues between the memory and GPU. I'm no techy but having heard many other techy folks talk about it, the same verbiage always comes up and that is that the 360 has a powerful GPU but very little bandwidth tp perform the tasks it might otherwise be capable of.

I agree with the score but rather would have gave the game an 8.5. However, this review shows just how pathetic Edge is in their bias since this is just as much a shooter as Killzone 2, only with lesser graphics and a simpler variety in weaponry. Sorry, but if this get's an 8 from Edge and KZ2 gets a 7, their credibility is certainly not there. Of course, this is not news since we all knew how pathetic Edge was and is.
What I do want is another game that will rival COD4 since that is what I play now. Halo was lost for me after number two. Three just didn't hold my attention like two did.
On the PS3, you know it to be true! They cannot let a generation go without one and since they did well on the PSP, I cannot see why they would not put one on the PS3. I suspect however that they will dump tons of cash into it and make it a great title that takes years to develop for but in the end, it will be worth every minute we had to wait.
It's not Forza and it is certainly no Gran Turismo. Sorry, but with those two titles, this one will be left out to dry for me.
Correct me if I am wrong but I have heard that they will release the soundtrack for this game after the launch date. If that is truly the case, I will be buying it. It is a great score.

I would rather have one honest score from a small no-name blog than ten scores from the like of Edge. Sorry, but just because it might be a small blog does not make their opinion any less worthy. I am an advocate for the abolition of scores in general and feel people should just read the reviews and make their own call based on rental but if I had my choice of scores, it would be the small blog that had zero ties to any corporations.
JRPG's for their Japanese flavor and since these Japanese developers have started to make their games with the Western flavors, I have lost a little interest in them. If I want to play a Western RPG, I will look no further than Bethesda and the like. When I want a good JRPG, it's getting tough to find one that is reminiscent of the days of old.
'Cause we all know how one game can turn the tide and make the 360 a complete success in a region that has very little interest in the console.

after playing the demo of Killzone 2, many of those looking to rent the game decided to purchase it and moved their rental to Halo Wars since it is the better choice between the two for rental. People will purchase Killzone 2 and rent Halo Wars. I know that is what I am doing. I don't care for RTS's but this one I might give a try at the full retail version. I liked BFME on the 360 a while back so who knows.
The author is more than likely to young to remember that title. When the chick gets her head split in two was proably one of the goriest moments in gaming history. Heck, you could even see her eyeball spit out her head!

This talk about resolution for any console is silly, especially if the game looks amazing. I have a 47", 1080p set and to be honest, I could care less about a few lines of resolution as long as the game looks good. This is one of those titles that is going to make me turn on my Wii and for that I am excited.
